The Scarlet Thread began in 2003 when we felt the Lord leading our family to "lead a quiet life and to work with our hands." (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12) As a family, we decided to begin sewing merchandise and selling at farmers' markets. Our merchandise seemed to be a success so we began selling at craft shows and local shops.

In 2005, we attended the New York state L.E.A.H Convention (a Christian home school convention in New York State). That was really the defining moment in our business. Since that time, the Lord Jesus blessed our business tremendously, and encouraged us to continue on.

Through the Lord's guidance, as a family, we have managed to create a wide variety of merchandise. We pray that Jesus will be seen through the simple, yet creative lifestyle of our family.
